What makes Buffee's different from a regular coffee shop?
We make traditional espresso drinks with protein-rich milks and put the macros on the menu. Same cafe quality, with numbers you can log.
Do you use protein powder?
No. The protein comes from the milk: ultrafiltered dairy or organic soy. No powders in the lattes.
What milks do you offer?
Ultrafiltered 2% dairy, organic soy and barista oat. There's no upcharge for soy or oat.
How much protein is in a drink?
It depends on the drink, size and milk. Ultrafiltered milk has 18g of protein per 250 mL and organic soy has 13g. The menu shows the number for every drink.
What drinks do you serve?
Espresso, cortados, flat whites, cappuccinos, lattes, Americanos, cold brew and iced versions of most of them. Protein cold foam can go on any iced drink.
Are the macros exact?
They're estimated from our standard recipes. Drinks aren't weighed one by one, so actual numbers can vary a little.
Do the drinks work for cutting or bulking?
Yes. Macro friendly doesn't mean everything is a protein product. It means you know what's in it, so you can fit it into your day.
Are the drinks sweetened?
Standard drinks are unsweetened. Sugar and sweeteners are at the cart if you want them.
Where can I find Buffee's?
We're a mobile cart that pops up at meets, races, gyms and events around Toronto and the GTA. The What's On page has the schedule.
Do you have a permanent location?
Not yet. Our first counter opens inside Bikes on Wheels in Toronto in January 2027.
Can I book Buffee's for an event?
Yes. Packages start at $950. Use the calculator on the Coffee Cart page for an estimate and we'll reply within 1 business day.
How much notice do you need for an event?
Two weeks is preferred. Custom branding adds one to four weeks.
How many drinks can you serve an hour?
About 25 with one barista and 45 or more with two.
Do you do regular pop-ups at gyms?
Yes. We partner with gyms and studios for weekly or monthly pop-ups. Send us a note through the Contact page.
What payment do you take at the cart?
Cash and all major credit and debit cards.
Do you sell merch?
Yes. Tees, bags, bottles, beans and snacks are in the Shop.
